Location: Pocatello, ID 83201
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 3×12 hours | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
 

Requirements:

• 2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• EPIC experience required
• BLS certification required
• Patient ratio experience: 1:6
• Active RN license required
• MS/Tele and orthopedic experience preferred

Description:

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients using the nursing process.
• Care for patients with sepsis, CIWA, AMS/confusion, COPD, AKI, trauma, respiratory failure, and cardiac conditions.
• Manage post-operative patients, bowel obstruction, pyelonephritis, diabetes, GI conditions, and isolation cases.
• Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, PICC/central line management, and blood product administration.
• Provide respiratory care including oxygen administration, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, chest tubes, and tracheostomy care.
• Manage feeding tubes, colostomy/ileostomy, CBI, and pre/post-hemodialysis care.
• Provide wound care and wound VAC management.
• Administer medications including Heparin, insulin, and PCA.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to rapid response/code situations.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC.
