Description
RRT – NICU/Adult
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment supporting NICU and Adult Critical Care. Candidates must have strong Level III NICU experience and meet all required clinical competencies.
Position Details
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour day shifts
- Call: Traveler may be required to take on-call shifts
- Floating: Must be willing to float between Adult Critical Care and Neonatal Critical Care
- Radius Requirement: Candidate must live at least 100 miles away from the facility
Required NICU Experience
Candidates must have 3+ years of Level III NICU experience with demonstrated competency in:
- High-frequency ventilation
- Nitric oxide
- Heliox
- Neonatal intubation
- Neonatal ventilator management
- Bubble CPAP
- Heated high-flow oxygen for neonates
- Neonatal arterial puncture
- Delivery attendance
- NICU transport experience
Do not submit candidates without the required NICU experience and competencies.
Required Credentials
- RRT credentials
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- Valid ABG license
Qualified candidates with the required Level III NICU experience and credentials are encouraged to apply.
