- RD/RDN certification required
- Texas RD license required
- 1+ year experience in the profession
- 2 years preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- LTAC experience preferred
- Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
Key Clinical Experience
The candidate should be comfortable with:
- Nutrition assessments/reassessments
- NFPE
- Enteral nutrition / tube feeding
- TPN
- Diabetes & DKA
- Kidney disease and dialysis/CRRT
- Heart failure
- Malnutrition / protein-calorie malnutrition
- Dysphagia
- Cancer
- GI conditions including Crohn’s, IBS and malabsorption
- Fluid/electrolyte balance
- Wounds and post-op patients
- Refeeding syndrome
- Therapeutic diets
- Intake/output and calorie counts
- Pediatric, neonatal, adult and geriatric nutrition careple lead healthy lives.
