Job Overview

Location: Portland, Maine

Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekly hours: 48
Guaranteed hours: 36
Contract length: 17 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Maine
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
NRP
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Clinical Experience

Must be able to work with adult acute and critical care patients
Must be able to float to NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and the emergency department

Preferred Experience

NICU/PICU experience
Cardiothoracic experience

Schedule Notes

Call required: 2 hours for the oncoming shift

Unit Details

Patient ratios: 1:25 for acute care and 1:8 for critical care
Team covers the entire facility with 14–16 respiratory therapists
