Position Highlights:
- Travel RN – Operating Room
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week

- Variable schedule

- Part-Time classification
- Must be available to work during the Christmas holiday period
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
- May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift, based on operational needs.
What You’ll Do:
As an OR RN, you will provide safe, high-quality nursing care while supporting patients throughout their surgical experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to accepted standards of practice.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Continuously collect and evaluate patient health data.
- Provide appropriate patient education and health counseling.
- Deliver supportive and restorative treatments and therapies.
- Execute delegated medical functions within scope of practice.
- Monitor and review treatment and care plans.
- Recognize when additional evaluation or treatment is needed and make appropriate referrals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize available resources to support safe and effective patient care.
- Promote a culture centered around patient safety, teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate care.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- ASN/ADN from an accredited School of Nursing
- BLS – American Heart Association
- Ability to communicate effectively in English – speaking, reading, and writing
Preferred
- Previous Registered Nurse experience
- BSN
- ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS, as applicable to the unit/service
- Specialty certification appropriate to the unit/service
