Position Highlights
Providence Women’s & Children’s Services is seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) or Neonatal PAs to join an established team of 13 NNPs serving both Level III NICUs.
Providers will:
- Manage high-risk neonates and infants
- Attend deliveries and perform neonatal procedures
- Participate in neonatal resuscitation and delivery-room care
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and manage treatment plans
- Provide patient/family education
- Work collaboratively with neonatologists, RNs, OB Hospitalists, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Provide unit-based clinical support and autonomous patient care
Facility Details
- Providence St. Vincent: ~3,000 deliveries/year; higher-acuity, smaller/sicker patient population
- Providence Portland: ~4,500 deliveries/year; generally less intensive
- Both facilities offer Level III NICU care
- High delivery-room volume
- Strong multidisciplinary and physician support
- No APP supervision required
- No admissions required
Requirements
- NP or PA
- Completion of a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship/residency or equivalent neonatal training
- NRP required
- Neonatal/Level III NICU experience strongly preferred
- Delivery-room experience preferred
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Must be willing to obtain an Oregon license if not currently licensed
- Estimated credentialing: ~90 days
