- Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year)
Description
Required Experience
- 2+ years licensed Respiratory Therapist experience
- 2+ years Pediatric Critical Care experience – REQUIRED
- Critical Care and Emergency/Trauma experience strongly preferred
- Level III or IV NICU experience strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable floating between different units/campuses as needed
- Experience caring for patients from neonates through adolescents
Required Credentials
- Active, permanent Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- RRT – NBRC
- BLS – AHA
- PALS – AHA
- Advanced NRP
- Accredited Respiratory Therapy program graduate
Responsibilities
- Provide routine and complex respiratory care
- Manage pediatric/neonatal respiratory procedures and equipment
- Deliver developmentally appropriate care across all pediatric age groups
- Maintain department/hospital quality and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Float between units and campuses based on operational needs
