Referral Bonus

• Position: Operating Room (OR) RN
• Shift: Evening, 10-hour shifts
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Guaranteed: 72 hours every 2 weeks (does not include on-call hours)
• Start: ASAP; compliance takes about 4 weeks
• Orientation: Every Monday (unless it’s a holiday)

🩺 Required Skills

Must be able to circulate in:

• Orthopedics
• Neurology/neurosurgery
• ENT
• General surgery
• Kidney transplants

Preferred: Liver transplant experience
Highly preferred: Scrub experience

Other useful experience:

• Robotics
• Spine
• GYN
• Urology
• Organ procurement
• Trauma

📞 Call / Weekends

• Up to 2 weekends per month
• Weekend duty can be:
  • Working a regular shift, or
  • Call: 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM
• 30-minute response time when on call
• Short call once per week
• Holidays may be worked during the contract

📍 Location / Floating

• Primarily West Main Campus
• May float to East Campus or CVI OR
• No local travelers: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Float required: No

📋 Submission Requirements

• BILH coversheet required
• Provide interview availability (dates/times) when submitting
• All RTO (requested time off) must be submitted upfront
• RTO must be approved
• BLS certification required
• Cannot have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent or per diem staff within the last 6 months

West Main OR has 10 operating rooms and handles Level I trauma cases, including:

• Bariatric surgery
• Neurosurgery
• ENT
• Orthopedic trauma
• Spine
• Plastic reconstruction
• Robotic surgery
• Kidney & liver transplants

💰 Important

• Parking may cost up to $43/day in some situations.

Bottom line: This is an evening OR travel RN contract best suited for someone with strong circulating experience across ortho, neuro, ENT, general surgery, and kidney/liver transplants, with scrub skills strongly preferred.
