IR Vascular OR Technologist – Travel Contract

Shift: 3×12 Days (6:30 AM–7:00 PM) & 4×10 Days (6:30 AM–5:00 PM)
Contract: 13 weeks

Job Responsibilities

• Perform endovascular and open vascular procedures in a hybrid OR.
• Support procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, declots, TCAR, angiography, thrombectomy, and embolization.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare/operate imaging equipment.
• Assist with vascular access, fluoroscopy, and vascular closure procedures.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and inventory.
• Document using Epic/PACS systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience – Required
• ARRT(R) – Required
• ARRT(VI) – Preferred
• BLS – Required
• Travel experience – Required
• Epic experience – Preferred
• Hybrid OR / vascular experience preferred.

Schedule & Call

• Call: once per week + every 4th weekend
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• 36 hours orientation
• Scrubs provided.
• Must be available for Storm/Hurricane Team assignments.

Important Compliance

• RTO must be submitted at initial submission.
• No additional RTO after signing.
• Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved, excluding holidays.
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
• No RTO during the first week.
• Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions only.
• Candidate must enter the lab and complete required testing within 48 hours of signing.
• 9/8 start date is mandatory.
