Travel Urgent Care RN – Alaska 🌲🏥 Looking for a unique travel opportunity in Alaska? We’re seeking an experienced Urgent Care RN to join an ambulatory care team. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys fast-paced outpatient care and working closely with providers and clinic staff. Assignment Highlights Specialty: Urgent Care RN Location: Alaska Start Date: Approximately 6+ weeks after fingerprint processing Shift: Clinic/ambulatory schedule Housing: Not provided — traveler/agency is responsible for housing Transportation: Not provided Must-Have Requirements 🚨 Active, unrestricted Alaska RN license REQUIRED at submission 2 years of Urgent Care experience 🚨 Urgent Care experience must be within the last 2 years BLS certification High school diploma or equivalent Flu vaccine documentation required What You'll Do Provide quality patient care in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting Perform patient assessments and specimen collection Assist providers and clinic staff with patient care Administer medications and maintain clinic supplies Perform Point-of-Care testing and quality checks Document patient care accurately and efficiently Help coordinate daily clinic operations, including opening and closing Maintain infection control and patient safety standards Work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team Important Travel Note Fingerprint processing is required before the start date can be finalized. After acceptance, travelers should schedule fingerprinting promptly and mail the cards within 2–3 days to help avoid start-date delays. Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
