Compensation & Schedule Details

• Hours & Shift: 36 hours per week (12-hour Nights, 0700–1930 / 1900–0730)
• Contract Length: Travel contract
• Scheduling: Must work 5 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. Holiday rotation required as needed. No block scheduling (scheduler handles traveler schedules).

Key Facility Policies & Floating Rules

• Radius Rule: Strict 50-mile radius rule. Candidate's permanent address must be included in the submittal to verify they reside outside the 50-mile radius prior to profile review.
• Floating & Duties: Required to float between MedSurg 5, MedSurg 6, and like units across the Treasure Valley system (Boise Medical Center ~8 miles away and Nampa Medical Center). May also float to the ER to hold patients or act as a 1:1. Willingness to take students or precept is required.
• Dress Code: Any color scrubs (must be clean and professional).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience required. Epic charting experience required.
• Licensure: Active Idaho (ID) RN license or compact state license.
• Certifications & Skills: AHA BLS and EKG certification required. Must be able to read and interpret cardiac tele strips and manage set-rate drips (heparin, PCAs, morphine).
