Schedule

• Monday–Friday, approximately 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Possible weekend rotation based on operational needs
• Weekend hours may be approximately 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• No call required
• No regular float requirement

Requirements

• Active California RN License required
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Epic experience is REQUIRED
• BLS
• Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
• Strong triage experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable assigning patient acuity levels
• Technology savvy and able to type while triaging
• Must be a quick learner and comfortable learning new workflows
• Must be comfortable with a sedentary and repetitive assignment
• Experience caring for adult patients

Role Responsibilities

• Triage patients with new or worsening symptoms
• Assess symptoms and determine the appropriate disposition
• Answer patient-generated calls and messages
• Ask appropriate triage questions to assess patient needs
• Provide appropriate clinical guidance based on assessment
• Route patient concerns and care appropriately
• Document assessments, advice provided, and triage plans accurately in Epic
• Support PCPs by addressing patient-generated messages and emails
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and strong customer service

Weekly Pay

Gross Weekly Estimate: $3,000/week

• Taxable: $1,200/week
• Per Diem: $1,800/week
• Overtime: $45/hr when applicable

This position is ideal for an experienced RN with strong triage skills, excellent clinical judgment, Epic experience, and the ability to efficiently manage patient calls and messages in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
