Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Job Description:

• Supports physicians and the surgical team during invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures.
• Prepares, handles, and maintains surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment required for operative procedures.
• Ensures high-quality patient care throughout the surgical procedure.
• Maintains and continuously monitors the sterile field to support patient safety and infection prevention.
• Assists the surgical team in maintaining an efficient and safe operating-room environment.

Requirements

Schedule:

• Day Shift
• 3 × 12-hour shifts
• Includes weekends and holidays
• Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Education & Experience:

• Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology – Required
• Relevant acute-care experience – Preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• National Board of Surgical Technologists (NBSTSA) or Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) certification – Preferred
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor, per AH policy – Preferred
