1ST TIMER- L&D RN - Req 10764

Will position float between units: Yes per unit needs
Is on-call required? Yes if cancelled will be required to be on call
Are weekends required? Yes every other
Are block schedules required? No
What are expected ratios? 1:1, 1:3
Special requirements: High Risk OB, ability to float to Postpartum and High risk Antepartum; 12-hour shift start time at both 3 am and 3p or a 11am and 11pm.  The 12-hour shifts will be either primarily on days or primary on nights. We would be respectful and the employee would have a week or more to prepare for the change.

*** Please note, it’s common for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets

AYA Healthcare professionals may be required to float to other units and facilities in order to meet the needs of PH&S.
Facilities:
Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent

*Note for Seaside floating only – If your traveler is booked to a non-Seaside facility and asked to float to Seaside, they will receive + $5/hr incentive for hours worked at Seaside in addition to IRS Mileage reimbursement.

If floating consecutive shifts, they will be additionally offered a hotel.

Facility agrees to give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.
