Instrument Technologist – Sterile Processing

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience
- BLS
- CRCST or CSPDT certification
- Certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD
- Basic computer skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform sterile processing and preparation of surgical instruments.
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure instruments and supplies meet infection-control and sterilization standards.
- Prepare instrument sets and supplies for surgical and procedural areas.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental safety protocols.
- Operate and monitor sterile processing equipment.
- Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure timely availability of instruments.

Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
Patient Population: Primarily adult acute-care and surgical patients, including medical-surgical, critical care, emergency, cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, and perioperative populations.
Local Candidate Note: Local bill rate is $10 below the posted travel bill rate.
