Location: High School – Boulder, CO
Dates: ASAP – May 21, 2027
Schedule: Full Time, Monday–Friday
Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay Rate: $28–$33 per hour, based on experience
Setting: High School – Multi-Intensive Special Education Classroom

Position Overview
PediaStaff is seeking experienced Paraprofessionals, Nurse’s Aides, and CNAs to support students in a Multi-Intensive special education classroom at Fairview High School in Boulder, CO.
This is a specialized school-based position supporting students with significant medical, physical, and special education needs. Candidates must have both hands-on medical experience and at least two years of special education public school classroom experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct classroom and 1:1 support to students with intensive needs
- Assist with diapering and personal care for female students
- Provide G-tube feedings and G-tube cleaning/care
- Support students who use ventilators
- Recognize seizure activity and follow established seizure protocols
- Support students with Rett syndrome, including safely managing outbursts
- Assist with classroom routines, activities, mobility, and daily living needs
- Collaborate with teachers, nurses, therapists, and other school staff
- Maintain student safety, dignity, and confidentiality
- Be flexible and willing to support the classroom wherever needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of special education experience in a public school classroom
- Previous nursing, nurse’s aide, CNA, or comparable hands-on medical experience
- Experience working with medically complex students or patients
- Comfortable with G-tubes, vents, seizure protocols, diapering, and personal care
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented
- Medical experience must be clearly reflected on the candidate’s resume
Schedule Details
- ASAP – May 21, 2027
- 35 paid hours per week
- 2.5 hours of unpaid lunches per week
- Position follows the student attendance calendar
- Approximately 2–3 additional training days may be required during the school year
