Overview

Travel RN position in Hickory, North Carolina

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS
BLS
PALS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Cerner

Schedule / Work Setting

Weekend rotation every other weekend
Call may require adjusted hours depending on census
Float support in areas where competencies are held

Unit Details

Emergency Department with 32 beds
Patient ratio: 1:4 to 1:5
Handles patients from birth to death
Fast-paced environment with critical care equipment

Candidate Fit

Strong patient and family communication skills
Critical thinking and stamina
Experience with fast-paced ED work, strokes, STEMI, and trauma is preferred
