- Travel Experience: Required/Preferred
- Float: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: Approximately half of the contract
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience; 2 years preferred
- Certifications: BLS required; NIHSS preferred
- Telemetry/MS experience
- Strong skills in IV therapy, blood products, peripheral IVs, and neurological patient care
- Experience with stroke/CVA, seizure disorders, TBI, neurosurgical patients, and medical-surgical care
Unit Highlights
3 South is a 19-private-room Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit specializing in neurological and stroke-related conditions. The unit cares for young adults through geriatric patients and provides continuous telemetry and pulse oximetry monitoring.
Important: UT Health Tyler does not contract travelers residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties.
Base Bill Rate: $54/hr
