Description
Peds/Neo Respiratory Therapist – Golisano
- Unit: Peds/Neo Respiratory Therapy – Golisano 4201
- Care Setting: Acute
- Shift: 12-hour days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
- Charting: EPIC
- Patient Population: Pediatric & Neonatal
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP (AHA verification)
- Required Experience: 2+ years in PICU and/or Level 4+ NICU
- Typical Treatments: 20–25 RT treatments/day
- Key Skills: Aerogen, Volara, Cough Assist, IPV, NAVA, Hamilton & Servo ventilators, airway management, and intrahospital transport
- Intubation: Assist only; independent intubation not required
- Weekend: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun)
- Holidays: As scheduled/possibly required
- Call: None
- Floating: None
- Scheduling: Preference/block scheduling permitted
- Staffing: Approximately 8 RTs per shift; RT will not be the only RT in-house
- Scrub Color: Stone/Light Gray
- Equipment: Hamilton & Servo ventilators; Respironics & Hamilton BiPAP; Fisher & Paykel HFNC
- Hospitalist/Intensivist: In-house
- Orientation: Department-specific; duration based on previous experience
