Job Description

Position / Specialty: Telemetry Observation RN
Tele observation unit is a 10-bed observation for patients who are being ruled out for certain diagnosis and is usually a 24 to 48 hour stay.
Telemetry observation - Diagnosis varies (medical). Occasional overflow surgical. No medication drips. Must have a strong Tele experience/ able to function autonomously.
Shift: 3x12 N
Ratios: Unknown, 10-bed unit
Years of experience REQ: 2 years
First-timers accepted: SCREEN ? must have 2-3 years of experience and Epic or Cerner experience
Weekend REQ: Y -every other weekend and holiday rotation
Certs REQ:
- MA state license required
- ACLS
- BCLS
Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? Y - 5-6 night shifts in 6 weeks (22:00-07:00 on-call)
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Y - M/S Tele
Open to accommodating block schedule? TBD by unit?s needs

RTO Restrictions: Finalized RTO must be included with submission. No RTO will be added after signing.
Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours for 3-12 hour shifts
48 hours for 4-12 hour shifts
40 hours for shifts less than 12 hours (8-hour and 10-hour shifts)
