Description
Now Hiring: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift
📍 Location: Morristown, NJ
🏥 Facility: Morristown Medical Center
📅 Start Date: September 21, 2026
⏳ Contract: 13 Weeks
💰 Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
🕐 Hours: 34.5 hours/week
📆 Weekend: Preferably every other weekend; minimum 1 full weekend/month
🎉 Holidays: Required
📞 On-Call: No
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide direct patient care with a focus on respiratory services, pulmonary function testing, and CPAP/DME support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct respiratory therapy and patient care services.
- Perform pulmonary function testing.
- Initiate and educate patients on CPAP devices.
- Set up and provide training on DME equipment, including oxygen concentrators and nebulizers.
- Assist patients with proper inhaler use and education.
- Support requests for continued DME supplies.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide high-quality respiratory care in a hospital setting.
Requirements
- RRT – Required
- Minimum 1 year of hospital or physician office experience
- Computer literacy required
- Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist (RCP) License
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
⭐ Manager's Preference
- NICU/PICU experience strongly preferred
- OR 5+ years of Respiratory Therapist experience
