Details of Assignment:
UTMB Rehab Services is requesting an Occupational Therapist to support the outpatient Primary Care Clinic located at the UTMB Galveston campus. Assignment details are below.
Job Description:
Directs the evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of physical therapy intervention provided to patients. Serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of therapy meets legal, ethical, and institutional standards while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and the organization.
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p
Location: Primary Care Pavillion, Galveston, TX - outpatient clinic
Education & Experience:
- Currently licensed in the State of Texas.
- Minimum three years’ Outpatient experience only.
- Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) required or extensive hand therapy experience
- BLS thru AHA required
