CVOR — Long Beach, CA

Position Summary: Seeking an experienced CVOR RN to join a cardiovascular operating room team, with cross-coverage in the Main OR when CVOR cases aren't scheduled. This is a low-volume, high-acuity CVOR (approximately 2 cases/week) supporting straightforward cardiac cases, paired with general OR assignments to round out the schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate cardiovascular cases including CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy procedures
• Cross-cover in Main OR for general surgical cases when CVOR volume is low
• Participate in CVOR call rotation
• Charge RN coordinates daily assignments

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• CVOR/cardiovascular surgical experience required
• General OR experience required (for Main OR float coverage)
• Scrubbing experience preferred, not required
• Cerner and Surginet EMR experience a plus

Shift: 4x10 Days, call required (EOW, first to float)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
