🩺 What You’ll Do

As an ED Travel RN, you will:

• Perform ongoing patient assessments and evaluate changes in health status.
• Provide effective ED triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.
• Provide nursing therapies and treatments that support patient health and well-being.
• Execute delegated medical functions within your scope of practice.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
• Provide patient and family health teaching and counseling.
• Collaborate with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Provide appropriate delegation and supervision when needed.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals and refer patients for additional evaluation or treatment.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Utilize available resources to promote safe, effective patient care.
• Uphold professional nursing standards and contribute to a positive patient-care environment.
• Float to other departments when required, provided the assignment is within your competency and qualifications.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

We're seeking a dependable and clinically confident RN who can thrive in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment.

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• ASN/Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• BLS – American Heart Association
• Strong patient assessment and nursing-care skills
• Ability to perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions appropriately

Preferred:

• Previous Registered Nurse experience
• BSN
• Unit-appropriate specialty certification(s)

🏅 Certifications

Certifications identified for this opportunity include:

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• ENPC
• NRP
• Active Registered Nursing License

Additional certifications may be applicable based on unit/service requirements.
