Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU RN)
VMS Req ID / Source: GSHS00155 / WorksHealth (Sunburst)
Location: Good Shepherd Health Care System, Hermiston, Oregon (610 NW 11th St)

Compensation & Schedule Details
- Hours & Shift: 36 hours per week (12-hour Nights).
- Contract Length: Travel contract
- Target Start Date: September 28, 2026
- Extension Note: If a travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period, CRASE training will be required.
Key Facility Policies & Floating Rules
- Floating Priority: Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care before core staff are floated.
- Work Environment: Indoor healthcare setting subject to fast-paced, high-pressure emergency situations, continuous standing/walking, and exposure to contagious diseases. Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous professional nursing experience (Medical-Surgical background preferred).
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon.
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS required at time of submittal.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
