Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Direct Hire / Permanent)

Location: Harrison, NY (Westchester County)

Employment Type: Direct Hire / Permanent (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week)

Pay Rate: $40.04 – $49.92 / hour (DOE)

Shift: 5x8-Hour Days (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No Scheduled Weekends)
 

Position Overview

An established healthcare network in Westchester County is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist for a full-time, direct-hire outpatient clinic role in Harrison, NY. This position offers a set daytime schedule (8 AM – 5 PM, Mon–Fri) focusing on high-quality routine and diagnostic medical radiographic imaging, patient positioning, and PACS/RIS workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiography and special procedure exams following established protocols.
• Prepare, instruct, and safely position patients across all age groups (pediatric through geriatric).
• Operate and calibrate digital X-ray equipment; manage digital images using PACS and Meditech/RIS systems.
• Assist radiologists and attending physicians during procedures and facilitate wet readings when required.
• Adhere to radiation protection standards (Image Gently & Image Wisely principles) to ensure patient and team safety.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program
• Active ARRT (R) certification upon hire
• Active New York State Department of Health (DOH) Radiologic Technologist License (or valid NY DOH Limited Permit upon hire)
• Current AHA BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Willingness to complete NY DOH IV Certification within 180 days of hire
