Job Description:

Position: Surgical Technologist

Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts

Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Duration: 13 week

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• 9:00am-5:30pm
• Monday-Friday
• 40 hours per week
• No call and no weekends on first contract

Travel Pay Package:

• $2,341 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals

Overview:

• Assist with the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
• Maintain sterile fields and ensure surgical instruments are functioning properly
• Support surgical teams during procedures
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical supplies
• Follow established surgical and infection control protocols
• Work collaboratively within a fast-paced surgical services department

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited civilian or military Operating Room Technician/Surgical Technician program
• NBSTSA certification required and must be maintained
• BLS certification required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Orthopedic experience strongly preferred
• Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred
