Description
Shift: 12H Rotating Days/Nights
Weekends: Every other weekend
Start: ASAP | 13 weeks
Requirements
- Active MA RN License required at submission
- 3+ years related RN experience
- EVD, lumbar drain & arterial line experience
- CPR/BLS-AHA
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Epic experience
Basic ability to navigate web-based applications
Unit & Patient Population
Neuro IMCU: 18 intermediate-care beds + 18 general neuroscience beds in the Rosenberg Building.
Patients may include:
- Post-op Day 0 neuro patients
- Acute thrombectomy patients
- Patients receiving TPA
- Patients with EVDs & lumbar drains
- Arterial lines
- Some vasoactive infusions
Patient Ratio: 1:3
Float: May float to the Neuro ICU from the Neuro IMCU.
