Unit Type: Cardio OR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
Shift: All Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Experience Required: 2+ Years
License Required: No
Certifications: CST (NBSTSA) & BLS (AHA) Required
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Tech to join a fast-paced Cardiovascular Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of CVOR/Surgical Tech experience and be comfortable supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures in an acute-care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular and operating room procedures.
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain strict sterile technique and follow infection-control standards.
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other members of the surgical team.
- Ensure the OR is properly prepared before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
