Location: Asheville NC
Address:509 Biltmore Ave Asheville NC
Unit: J4-NSICU
Number of Beds :12
Patient Ratios :1:2
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :
Type of equipment : Baxter pumps
Documentation system: Cerner
Scheduling requirements: Self Schedule/ Unit needs. 6 weekend shift per period.
Floating policy: Travelers float first to other ICU’S or to step down.
Patient Experience requirements: Neurology experienced ICU nurses preferred.
Hospital Specifics-
Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS
Must have: ACLS, BLS, ICU experience, RN license
Advanced skills needed: Care of Neurology post thrombectomy and TPA patients. Post Neurosurgery patients.
Procedures performed on unit: CRRT, Bedside EVD’s, A-line monitoring.
