Cath Lab Radiology Technologist – Travel Contract

📍 Location: Eureka, CA
💰 Pay Rate: $88/hr W2
📅 Start Date: October 5, 2026 / ASAP

⏰ Shift: Days | 4x10s | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
ARRT – Preferred
California Fluoroscopy Permit – Required
BLS – Required
ACLS – Required
Strong cardiac cath procedural experience
Epic experience preferred
Community hospital experience preferred
Pending Fluoroscopy Permit may be considered if already applied for at time of submission

Cath Lab Experience

Candidates should be comfortable with:

Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
Left & Right Heart Cath
PCI / PTCA
Coronary angioplasty & stent placement
Permanent & temporary pacemakers
Coronary diagnostic & interventional procedures
Peripheral diagnostic & interventional procedures
Scrubbing and maintaining sterile field
Equipment setup and operation
Isolation precautions/PPE

Preferred Skills

Hemodynamic monitoring
Impella
Peripheral angiography/interventions
Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy
Coil embolization
EP Lab procedures
Interventional Radiology
PACS

Schedule & Call

Days | 4x10s
6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Call required – frequency varies based on department needs
Up to 2 weekends per 6-week schedule
No floating required
Block scheduling may be considered
RTO must be approved at time of submission

Additional Details Adult and geriatric acute-care setting with approximately 8–12 cases per day. Primary cases include coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, coronary/peripheral interventions, and permanent pacemaker procedures. Interested?
