PCU RN – Job Notes

Position Requirements

PCU experience required
Must have experience with 1:5 PCU ratios
This is a high-level, high-functioning PCU with multiple long-term patients
2 years of experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Cardiac Tele experience required

Required Certifications

ACLS
BLS
NIH

Required Clinical Skills

Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
Peripheral IV line care/management
PICC line management
Titration of drips

Schedule

3x12s
Days: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Weekend rotation required
Holiday rotation required
No call

Floating

Floating is required as needed
All travelers may be required to float between all Cone Health campuses based on staffing needs.

Important Note Must have PCU experience with 1:5 ratios. This is a high-level, high-functioning PCU caring for multiple long-term patients.
