Specialty: Operating Room / OR RN
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Shift: Nights, Monday–Thursday
Schedule: 8:30 PM–7:00 AM, 4×10s
Call: No call
EMR: Epic
BLS: AHA or American Red Cross required
License: Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license required
 

Candidate Requirements

• 24 months of current Operating Room experience — Required
• Hospital/medical center OR experience preferred
• Circulating OR experience — Required
• Scrub experience — Highly Preferred
• Must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 9 months
• No first-time travelers
• Epic experience within the previous 3 years — Required
• Trauma Level II experience — Required
• Trauma Level I experience — Highly Preferred
• Active IA/Compact RN license at submission — Required
• BLS — Required
• Driver's License — Required

Required Case Experience

Candidate must have experience with:

• General
• Da Vinci Robotics
• Pediatrics
• Trauma

Highly Preferred Case Experience

• Neurology
• Orthopedics, primarily trauma
• Gynecology
• Urology
• Transplants
• Plastics
• ENT
• Vascular

Scrub + Circulate: Candidates capable of doing both are preferred.

Facility / Floating

Traveler may be required to float across:

• Iowa Methodist Medical Center
• Iowa Lutheran Hospital
• Other UPH campuses as required

Local Radius Rule

No locals. Candidate must live at least 50 miles from the facility, based on driver's license.
