The position requires strong independent L&D expertise, including sterile vaginal examinations and obstetric triage. The unit provides comprehensive Labor & Delivery and antepartum care with approximately 6–8 deliveries per day.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Candidates with less than 2 years may be considered based on experience
- 1.5 years of L&D experience is the hardstop minimum
- Strong expert-level Labor & Delivery experience required
- Must be able to independently perform sterile vaginal examinations without supervision
- Independent obstetric triage experience is required
Required Certifications & Licenses
- AWHONN Advanced certification is a HARDSTOP requirement
- ACLS required
- BLS/BCLS required
- NRP required
- Valid CA RN license must be in hand at submission
