Travel Respiratory Therapist – Full JD

Position Details

Position: Respiratory Therapist
Facility: VNDLY Advocate SE
Location: Charlotte, NC
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Schedule: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Department Information

Average Patients/Day: 300+
Minimum Experience: 2 years Respiratory Therapy
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Patient Population: Adult care and NICU; no pediatric population

Required Qualifications

License: North Carolina RRT or CRT license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Required Skills/Experience:
- Critical Care
- CVICU
- NICU
- ED
- Progressive Care
- All floor respiratory therapies

Servo ventilators (I, U, and Airs)

Bubble CPAP

Floating Requirements

Floating is required based on regional needs and must be within the traveler's scope of practice.

Potential facilities/locations include:

Region 2 – Pineville
Anson
Union
Union West
Freestanding EDs within Region 2
Central Division:
- CMC Main
- CMC Mercy
- Levine Children’s Hospital

If floating between facilities mid-shift, the traveler remains on the clock and is paid for travel time between facilities.
