Description

🌙 Schedule

Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
12-hour shifts
Weekend requirement: Yes
Call: None
Floating: None
Scrubs: Navy blue or pink

👶 L&D Patient Population

This is a solid true L&D/perinatal position. The RN will handle:

Deliveries
Circulating C-sections
Antepartum patients
Initial newborn assessments
Immediate postpartum care

👩‍⚕️ Ratios

AWHONN standards:

1:1 — Pitocin induction/augmentation
1:2 — Cervical ripening
1:2–3 — Antepartum, depending on acuity
1:2–3 — Triage
1:1 — Immediate postpartum, first 2 hours post-birth, mother & baby

📋 Requirements

1 year related L&D/perinatal experience preferred
BSN preferred
Active LA RN license or compact license
BLS required
NRP required
ACLS required
Current fetal monitoring certification required through one of:
- AWHONN Intermediate FHM
- AWHONN Intermediate FHM Instructor
- AWHONN Advanced FHM Instructor
- AWHONN Instructor Trainer
- NCC C-EFM
