About the unit

Number of Beds -272
Number of Staff – 4
Type of staff: Cardiac Sonographers
- Day Shift – 4 10hr shifts
- Night Shift – rotating on call
Patient Ratios – 1:1
Type of equipment – GE E95 (4) Philips Epiq (1)
EMR – Meditech and CCW

Must have:

Minimum 6 months experience in an acute care setting as an Echo Tech
BLS & RCS
Must have Pediatric experience

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

ARDMS
Prior Meditech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Adult Echocardiograms (portable inpatients and outpatients), Transesophageal Echocardiograms, Bubble studies, Definity contrast studies
Structured reporting on all procedures performed

Best personality Fit:

Ability to be flexible, great team player and patient focused
Communication with staff and providers

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

Black or hospital provided scrubs are to be worn.
On-call requirements - 2 nights of call per week including rotating weekends
