Description

JD – Travel RRT

Position: Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Shift: Days, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Schedule: 3×12 hours
Contract: 13 weeks
Start Date: 10/5/2026
Facility: Short-Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma / Teaching Hospital
Beds: 733
Charting: Epic
Scrub Color: Solid Black or Black & White

Must-Haves

RRT
2+ years of experience
Must be comfortable working with both adults and pediatric patients
ICU experience with adults and children
Active state or Compact license at submission
Epic experience
Must be willing to float within scope
Must provide interview availability at submission

RTO / Scheduling

Maximum 4 days RTO
NO holiday RTO will be accepted
Block scheduling: Not available

Important Requirements

Must be comfortable working with Peds + Adults
Must be comfortable working in ICU
Float between like units/affiliated campuses as needed
Any call-off for a scheduled shift requires a make-up shift as determined by the department
Local candidates within 50 miles of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center are not eligible
Pending license not accepted
Former employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
No background or license actions within the past 12 months
Flu vaccine: Required
