Description

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Setting: Ambulatory Oncology / Cancer Center

Requirements

MA RN License required at submission
2+ years oncology experience
Hematology/Oncology experience required; outpatient oncology preferred
Strong telephone triage & symptom management skills
Excellent communication and organization
EPIC/computer skills

Responsibilities

Coordinate care for medical oncology patients alongside MDs/NPs
Support patients throughout their cancer journey and treatment
Telephone triage and symptom management
Coordinate specialist referrals, imaging and IR procedures
Arrange VNA, hospice and DME referrals
Obtain authorizations for specialty oral chemotherapy medications
Coordinate appointments and treatment start
Patient education and follow-up
