CVICU RN – Job Duties

Provides high-acuity critical care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, medical, surgical, and trauma conditions. Cares for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, CABG, valve procedures, respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, trauma, and other complex conditions. Manages critical care treatments, monitors patients closely, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team. May float to Intermediate Care and ED holding as needed.

Requirements: 2+ years ICU experience, CVICU experience required, travel experience preferred. BLS, ACLS, and NIH required.

Schedule: 3x12s, 36 hours/week
Call: Required
Unit: 16-bed ICU/CVICU, typical 1:2 ratio
Charting: Medhost
Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ
Local Rule: Must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel.

Attendance: 1 call-out allowed per contract. A second requires documentation and is reviewed case-by-case.
Schedule: No block schedule requests; 48-hour contracts may be considered but are not guaranteed.
