RN – Med/Tele | Brockton, MA

Location: 680 Centre Street, B1, Brockton, MA 02302
Shift: 3×12-hour Day/Nights Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse – Med/Tele to provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients across the newborn to geriatric age range. The RN will work independently within established hospital policies and the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act, while collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify nursing diagnoses and individualized care goals.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and document patient care plans and outcomes.
• Administer medications and IV solutions safely and monitor patient responses.
• Communicate significant changes in patient condition to physicians and appropriate supervisors.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout their care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, ancillary staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and remain calm in high-pressure or unexpected situations.
• Participate in quality improvement, continuing education, and professional development activities.
• May direct or assist LPNs and ancillary nursing personnel and assume additional responsibilities when needed.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License – Required
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers – Required
• ACLS – Required/Preferred per facility
• Education: Nursing Diploma, ADN/ASN, or BSN
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and handle difficult or unexpected situations.
• Meditech experience – Preferred
