Duration: 13 weeks / 91 days
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3×12s / 36 hours per week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Call: Yes / TBD

Requirements

2 years current L&D experience — required
Postpartum / Mother Baby experience — required
BSN — required
Active Massachusetts RN license
AHA BLS
NRP
STABLE
1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years
Current L&D, Postpartum, and Mother Baby skills checklists
Traveler must have own vehicle
Permanent address must be included with profile
50-mile local restriction

Scheduling / RTO

All RTO must be submitted with the initial profile
Maximum 5 days RTO — less is preferred
No schedule accommodations or block scheduling
Requests made after submission/interview/offer will not be approved
Must be available to work required holidays

Holiday Requirement

Traveler must work two holiday blocks, if scheduled/needed:

Thanksgiving Day + Friday + following weekend
Christmas Eve + Christmas Day + following weekend
New Year's Eve + New Year's Day + following weekend

Facility / Unit

Fairview Hospital is a community hospital in the southern Berkshires with maternity services, C-sections, 24-hour anesthesia availability, emergency services, general surgery, orthopedics, and other acute-care services.

The Family Birthplace provides private rooms and dedicated equipment for labor, delivery, and newborn care. L&D nurses work closely with OB physicians, midwives, and lactation consultants.
