Description
Travel - "Registered Nurse - Emergency Room"
Contract Details
- Shift: Days – 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, with some 8:00 AM–8:00 PM shifts as needed
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Weekend: Rotating weekends
Pay Breakdown
(Based on 36 hours)
W2 (taxable): $26.00/hr
Per Diem (Non-Taxable): $ 1,267.00
Gross Weekly Pay: $2,203.00/week
Requirements
- Experience Required:
- Experienced ER/ED RN
- RN Education Verification
- Ability to utilize the nursing process and provide comprehensive emergency care
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, documentation, and patient-safety skills
- Certification Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC or TNS
- License Required:
- Active Wisconsin RN License
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and treatments according to policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Perform patient assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation.
- Develop and execute individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Document patient care according to established standards.
- Participate in performance improvement, shared governance, and unit practice activities.
- Apply clinical expertise to support other departments in the patient's continuum of care.
- Use critical thinking to promote patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Participate in professional nursing and peer review processes.
