Description
Job Overview Seeking an experienced Travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week assignment in Atlanta, GA. This position provides compassionate nursing care and chemotherapy administration in a structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients following established clinical protocols.
- Safely prepare, monitor, and administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments.
- Perform continuous patient assessments, titrate medications, and manage side effects.
- Maintain accurate, real-time clinical documentation and educate patients/families on treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with attending physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute/outpatient Oncology RN experience.
- Active Georgia or Compact RN License in good standing.
- Active Chemo / Immunotherapy Certification (ONCC/ONS or equivalent authorization).
- AHA BLS & NIHSS Certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Level I Trauma Center experience.
- Background in ICU or High-Acuity settings.
Holiday Requirements
- Work 2 of 3 Major Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's).
- Work 1 of 3 Minor Holidays (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
