Description

ICU RN – Ottumwa, IA

Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night-shift travel assignment. This is a lower-volume ICU combined with the medical unit, so candidates must be comfortable floating and caring for Stepdown, Telemetry, and Med-Surg patients when ICU census is low.

Assignment Details

Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours/week
Weekends: Every other weekend
Call: None
RTO: Maximum 5 days
Openings: 1

Unit Details

10 ICU beds
ICU ratio: 1:3
Patient population: Adults
Trauma level: IV
EMR: Meditech
Equipment: Mindray and Omnicell
Common diagnoses: DKA, acute renal failure, CHF, and CAD
Scrubs: Any color

Requirements

Active Iowa or compact RN license
Minimum 1 year of experience
BLS and ACLS required
General ICU and cardiac drip experience preferred
One year may be considered with prior travel experience
Must float to Stepdown, Telemetry, and Med-Surg
Flexible, team-oriented candidates strongly preferred
