Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care / Progressive Care / Stepdown (IMC/PCU/Stepdown RN)

Compensation & Schedule Details
- Hours & Shift: Night shift (36 hours per week).
- Contract Length: 13 to 16 weeks (extended contract options approved for Fall starts).
- Target Start Date: October 4, 2026.
Key Facility Policies & Unit Scope
- Patient Population: Cares for an inpatient surgical patient population requiring continuous telemetry monitoring and stepdown-level nursing care.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Extensive clinical experience required with surgical patient populations and telemetry monitoring.
- Licensure: Active Indiana (IN) RN license or multi-state compact RN license in hand.
- Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required for stepdown/telemetry placement.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
