Description

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Durham, NC
Specialty: Labor & Delivery / High-Risk Perinatal
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12s

Position Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
Travel nursing experience required
First-time travelers are not accepted
Active NC or Compact RN License in hand
BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
Epic charting experience required
Teaching hospital experience preferred
Must have open availability; blocked scheduling is not accepted

Clinical Experience

Experience with both high-risk and low-risk L&D patients, including:

Labor and Delivery management
Inductions and spontaneous labor
Vaginal deliveries
High-risk deliveries
Cesarean sections
C-section recovery
Epidural and pain management
Fetal monitoring and recognition of abnormal FHR patterns
