Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Durham, NC
Specialty: Labor & Delivery / High-Risk Perinatal
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12s
 

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
  • Active NC or Compact RN License in hand
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Teaching hospital experience preferred
  • Must have open availability; blocked scheduling is not accepted

Clinical Experience

Experience with both high-risk and low-risk L&D patients, including:

  • Labor and Delivery management
  • Inductions and spontaneous labor
  • Vaginal deliveries
  • High-risk deliveries
  • Cesarean sections
  • C-section recovery
  • Epidural and pain management
  • Fetal monitoring and recognition of abnormal FHR patterns
