Description

Allied Anesthesia Technician – Rochester, NY

Location: Rochester, NY 14642
Facility: URMC – Strong Memorial Hospital (SMH)
Address: 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642
Pay Rate: $28–$32/hour
Shift: Days
Contract: 13–26 weeks


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize anesthesia equipment and supplies.
  • Assist anesthesia providers during surgical procedures.
  • Check and maintain anesthesia equipment.
  • Support operating room setup and turnover.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow hospital safety and infection-control procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous Anesthesia Technician experience required.
  • Active required license/credential required.
  • Current Anesthesia Technician certification required.
  • Hospital, surgical, or operating-room experience preferred.
  • Must meet all facility-specific credentialing requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

License & Certification: REQUIRED
