Mental Health RN – Acute Care - Nights
Job Summary
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: Every 3rd weekend
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license at submission
- BLS required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Recent acute-care experience preferred
- Mental/behavioral health experience is strongly relevant
- Experience caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with acute mental/emotional conditions
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, age-appropriate direct and indirect nursing care.
- Perform assessment and evaluation using the nursing process.
- Address patients' bio-psychosocial and mental health needs.
- Intervene appropriately for patients experiencing acute psychiatric or emotional disturbances.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, NPs, social workers, and other members of the mental health team.
