- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
Role: Registered Nurse – Postpartum / Mother-Baby
Schedule & Floating
- Shift: 12-hour nights with self-scheduling options in 6-week blocks.
- Rotation: Every 3rd weekend (Friday/Saturday) and every other holiday.
- On-Call: None required.
- Floating: Occasional support floating within Women’s Services (L&D recovery assist, Antepartum).
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license (or proof of application).
- Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications.
- Experience with postpartum assessments, basic newborn care, and EPIC charting.
- Preferred: ACLS, lactation experience, or Level 2 Nursery background
